Eat This: 10 Yummy Breakfast Ideas for Kids
May 12, 2009
Mornings can be a challenge at our house. Cavanaugh wakes up hungry and I am likely to be sleep-deprived. Many days I can’t even think of what we eat for breakfast to offer my son options. Here’s our top 10 (otherwise known as All I Can Remember).
- Whole wheat flax pancakes with vanilla yogurt and cut up berries
- Whole wheat flax waffles with cream cheese and honey
- Bagels with strawberry cream cheese
- English muffins with almond butter or cream cheese
- Peach Mango Smoothie
- Berry Banana Smoothie
- Bowl of yogurt
- Scrambled cheese egg and hash browns with ketchup
- Hash browns with cheese and onions
- Bowl of O’s cereal with milk

Pancake Breakfast
I would love to know what you eat for breakfast so we can add to our list.

We always seem to have fake bacon, oatmeal with or without raisins and some fruit side– usually strawberries or bananas. I wish I could get my little guy to go for more variety… not big on waffles, toast or even pancakes. Used to love yogurt, now he won’t touch it. Sigh.
